Macon County Farm Bureau Ag In The Classroom (AITC) is your local source for agriculture
related educational materials, resource guides, and programs for Macon County students of
all ages and educators.
The
Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation organized to
promote and insure the legacy of Macon County agriculture. Established in 1991, the
Foundation allows individuals, corporations and other Foundations to contribute to
worthwhile Macon County agriculture projects. Their support is coordinated by the Macon
County Farm Bureau Foundation and allocated in ways allowing the Farm Bureau to carry out
charitable, scientific and educational work in the field of agriculture.
Governmental Affairs
Works to build and maintain relationships with local, state, and national elected
officials on farm-related and rural concerns and toward a sound farm policy for everyone.
Explores conventional and innovative marketing opportunities by providing speakers
and events to bring this information to Macon County Farm Bureau members.
Provides educational meetings, exciting trips, social, and informational outings
for Farm Bureau members 55+.
Communicates activities and issues to the Farm Bureau members and the general
public.

and social outings during the year.
