Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation & the Dale & Marge Christison Scholarships
Dale and Marge Christison have graciously donated to help those students in Macon County that are earning a degree in agriculture.  The Christison's will give a $1,000 scholarship to the student of their choice.  Preferences go to Meridian High School students, Richland Community College students and Pleasant View Township residents.  The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation each year awards several scholarships to Macon County Farm Bureau members pursuing ag-related careers.   

Willard Severns Leadership Award
The Willard Severns Leadership Award is given to a student possessing the skills and capacities necessary to provide leadership in the changing agricultural community. This award was initiated to create a legacy based on the way Willard Severns led his life. As a Farm Bureau member and the Illinois Farm Bureau District 11 Director, he constantly displayed the most distinguished leadership qualities. As a part of the award, the recipient will be eligible for up to $4000 over four years.

Young Farmers' Leadership Scholarship
The Macon County Farm Bureau Young Farmers' Committee awards one scholarship to a Macon County Farm Bureau member displaying strong leadership skills and pursuing an ag-related career.
