Create a better understanding and appreciation of the food and agricultural enterprise, it’s many facets from production to diverse end products, and the careers involved. Macon County Farm Bureau Ag In The Classroom (AITC) is your local source for agriculture related educational materials, resource guides, and programs for Macon County students of all ages and educators.
Foundation
The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation organized to promote and insure the legacy of Macon County agriculture. Established in 1991, the Foundation allows individuals, corporations and other Foundations to contribute to worthwhile Macon County agriculture projects. Their support is coordinated by the Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation and allocated in ways allowing the Farm Bureau to carry out charitable, scientific and educational work in the field of agriculture.
Governmental Affairs
Works to build and maintain relationships with local, state, and national elected officials on farm-related and rural concerns and toward a sound farm policy for everyone.
Prime Timers
Provides educational meetings, exciting trips, social, and informational outings for Farm Bureau members 55+.
Public Relations
Communicates activities and issues to the Farm Bureau members and the general public.
Young Farmers
Facilitates a group for members 18-35 years old through educational meetings, travel opportunities, and social outings during the year.
