It is Scholarship Season at the Macon County Farm Bureau!  Members and their children majoring in an agricultural-related field may apply for a variety of scholarships offered this year.
The scholarship application is available on and must be received by March 1. 
“The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation prides itself on supporting the ag-leaders of tomorrow.  It has provided over $150,000 in scholarships over the last twenty-six years and looks forward to supporting many more for years to come.”

H.R. Beeson Scholarship One $1,500 scholarship – Established to honor Harry Richey Beeson, an Illinois farmer, agricultural educator, and soil conservationist.
• Must be an Illinois Farm Bureau member, spouse or child of member, and an Illinois resident
• Must be majoring in agriculture, agribusiness, or a closely related field at an Illinois institution
• Preference given to students from Clay, Crawford, and Macon counties
