Rules for the Road Trucking Seminar
Illinois Farm Bureau will host a series of two-hour programs focusing on transportation laws and regulations as they pertain to the agricultural industry. Macon County Farm Bureau will host one of the sessions on March 1 at 6pm at Richland Community College.

The Balloon Association of Greater Illinois (BAGI) sponsors four $500 scholarship for Farm Bureau members/dependents. The scholarships are available to college students studying agriculture or an ag-related program (2 or 4 year programs, not limited to first-year students but non-renewable). Applicants must live in one of the 19 BAGI “fly zone” counties. The program was established as a way to recognize the agricultural community in allowing hot air balloons to launch/land on farm property. A list of eligibility requirements, along with the application, can be found at:

It's scholarship season for the IAA Foundation and they have lots of opportunities for college students in an ag-related course of study. With more than 100 awards to offer, students should start applying now to beat the February 15th deadline. Visit www.IAAFounation.org to learn more and apply today!

It is Scholarship Season at the Macon County Farm Bureau! Members and their children majoring in an agricultural-related field may apply for a variety of scholarships offered this year. The scholarship application is available on www.MaconCFB.org and must be received by March 1.
“The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation prides itself on supporting the ag-leaders of tomorrow. It has provided over $150,000 in scholarships over the last twenty-six years and looks forward to supporting many more for years to come.”

Scholarships can be tough competition, but when if you are studying an ag-related major at an Illinois institution, AND you are from Macon, Clay, or Crawford County, then you have a great shot at this one! www.iaafoundation.org
