FFA at Farm Progress Show
The Macon County Farm Bureau in conjunction with three Country Financial Representatives sent over 200 Macon County FFA students to the Farm Progress Show. Students were each given a ticket to attend one day to the show along with a t-shirt for the event. Thank you to Country Financial Representatives Corbin Richardson, Andy Stukins, and Tim Young for their support of this opportunity for our area FFA Chapters.

Thanks to everyone that participated in the Emmett Sefton Memorial Drive! It raised $1800 for the Sefton Memorial Scholarship fund, which supports one area student majoring in ag annually.

Mrs. Katie Dawson's fourth graders at Mt Zion Intermediate School had a blast raising chicks this spring!! Not only did they incubate their eggs, they also learned a TON from the Ag in the Classroom Poultry Ag Mags. Thanks to Mrs. Dawson for including agriculture in her classroom!!!

Konnor Riggs Fry was born on National Ag Day, March 23, 2021, at 4:16 am at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Decatur. Son of MCFB members Kenny and Lindsey Fry, he was 7.3 pounds and 20 1/4 inches long. Siblings are Kenny IV and Lynnly.
The Macon County Farm Bureau congratulated the first baby born in Macon County on Ag Day with a basket of gifts. Congratulations on your bundle of joy!

Keiston Bond was born on National Ag Day, March 24, 2020, at 7 am at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Decatur. Son of Kandyse Stewart and William Bond, was 7.9 pounds and 20 inches.
