Kudos to the Macon County Farm Bureau Young Leaders for hosting their first ever ag-themed Career and College Fair at the
Mount Zion High School for all of the local FFA chapters. Several businesses and colleges were on hand to meet with the 50+ students in attendance.
The Young Leaders are looking forward to presenting the event again next year!

The MCFB Ag in the Classroom Committee hosted a poster contest for area classes that participate in the program. The winning classroom was Mrs. Field's fourth graders from Argenta-Oreana Elementary! They won a trip to the Children's Discovery Museum, Normal, to see the ag exhibit, and their creation was turned into placemats to be used at Farm Bureau events, such as last week's Annual Meeting dinner. CONGRATULATIONS to the winning class - bravo on your creativity on showing us how farmers feed us all day long!
